Nondiscrimination

Oakdale Seniors Alliance and its affiliated communities comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing nondiscrimination and resident rights, including but not limited to the Fair Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA), and applicable consumer protection laws.
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, familial status, veteran or military status, genetic information, lawful source of income, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law in the admission, access to, or provision of housing, services, programs, activities, or employment.
We do not discriminate against residents, applicants, or participants because they use legally prescribed medications, including opioid medications, to treat a disability or other medical condition, so long as such medications are used in accordance with a valid prescription and applicable law. Residents who use legally prescribed medications for disability-related treatment are entitled to the same rights, services, and opportunities as other residents, subject to reasonable health and safety policies applied in a nondiscriminatory manner.
Reasonable accommodations and modifications will be provided, upon request and as required by law, to ensure equal access to housing, programs, and services for individuals with disabilities, including individuals who use legally prescribed medications to manage their disabilities or medical conditions.
Residents, applicants, employees, and consumers who believe they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or unfair or deceptive practices may file a complaint with Oakdale Seniors Alliance and/or the appropriate federal, state, or local agency charged with enforcing fair housing, civil rights, human relations, or consumer protection laws.
